"Anything you can believe, you can achieve." Napoleon Hill
It all starts with our thoughts. If I don't know where I'm going or believe that I can get there, am I ever going to get there? NO! Because if I don't know where I'm going, I'll end up where I don't want to be. Interesting how the world works that way. The more intentional you are about things, the more intentionality you get back. So when you have a goal, believe you can get there, it's going to alter your actions because your thoughts lead to words which lead to actions. When your thoughts are going in the right direction, there's a whole lot better chance your words and actions and habits will go in that same direction. And when obstacles are there to block your way, it's not going to distract you from your goal because you'll know how to get back on track once you make it past or over or through the roadblock. Whatever you sow, so shall ye reap. Wise words.

Gratitude Thoughts
I love Thanksgiving and its meaning. I wish it was more than just one day per year, but I'm super glad we at least get this one. In the book, "The Secret," it talks a lot about gratitude and how it's the most powerful force to bring goodness into your life. "It is impossible," states Rhonda Byrne, "to bring more into your life if you're feeling ungrateful." And, "You are the creator of your life, so start by creating your day." So I've started, when I wake up each morning, to be intentionally grateful. I set my foot on the ground and say "Thank", then my next foot and say "You" and say "Thank you" all throughout my morning routine with every step I take. It's been amazing to see that when I put out gratitude into the world, more things to be grateful for tend to show up. I love the power of the law of attraction, and I really hope I can help my kiddos understand the power of it a bit more so they can start bringing more goodness into their world.

Subtracting Mixed Numbers
This video goes through how to subtract mixed numbers: if the larger number has the bigger fraction, then find the LCD, make both fractional parts have the same denominator, then subtract and simplify (don't forget the whole numbers, too!). If the bigger number has a smaller fraction, then borrow 1 whole number (remember your whole number is any number divided by the same number, so make sure that number is the same as your denominator).
